Journey Around the World with Art!

Create fine art in a variety of media with art from 9 countries in 9 months! Around the World tuition only $50/mo. ($450/9 mo.) or $400 paid in advance. Students may participate one month at a time and start anytime during the year.

 

 

A visual arts program in which students create their own fine art in a variety of media (drawing, painting, sculpting, design) during the school year. Students will learn about nine countries and their unique art. Choose one:

 

Art for Kids - T 4-5:30 p.m.

Art for Home School Kids -  T 2-3:30 p.m. or W 2-3:30 p.m.

Home School Art for Middle & High School - Th 2-3:30 p.m.

Middle School / High School Art - M 4-5:30 p.m. or Th 4-5:30 p.m.

 

Other Weekly Art Classes (not included in Journey Around the World):

 

Young at Art (age 2-4 with parent) - F 3-3:30 p.m. $30/mo.

Learn how to encourage creativity as you explore art with your young child!

Preschool / Kinder Art - M 2:30-3:30 p.m. - $40/mo.

A beginning visual arts program for children ages 3-6 using a variety of art media.

Beginning Drawing Class - W 4-5:30 p.m. - $50/mo. 

Intermediate/Advanced Drawing Class - M 7-8:30  p.m. - $50/mo.

Begin./Inter. Acrylic Painting for Adults - Sept-May - T 6-7:30 p.m. ($50/mo.) Learn to paint with acrylics on canvas ~  landscapes, still life, portraits and abstract.

 

 

Individual Art Classes (Ages 14-Adult):

Hand Lettering I -  Jan. 21, 28& Feb. 4 - 2-4pm - $50

Hand Lettering II - Apr. 14, 21, 28 - 2-4pm - $50       Oil Pastels - Apr. 28 - 10am-12pm - $20

Eat, Love, Pray & Paint - Feb. 17 - 6:30-8:30pm - paint a tote - $5 for project. Enjoy fellowship with your friends! - bring a finger food & a short Bible devotion to share.

Crop ‘til You Drop! - Jan 13-14, Feb 10-11, Mar 9-10  $15 - Starts at 6:30 p.m. on Fri. & 10 a.m. on Sat. We provide studio space, tools, two Cricut cutters and scrapbook fun! Bring your own scrapbooking supplies, snacks & beverages. 

Paint ‘til You Faint! - Jan. 6, Feb. 3, Mar. 2, Apr. 6

$15 - 6:30 p.m. We provide studio space, paint and brushes, refreshments & fun! Please bring something to paint, such as a canvas, wooden furniture, etc.

Art for All ~ S 10-11a.m. or 11:30-12:30 p.m.

Registration required. All ages. Family friendly.  

Feb. 4 - Card Making with Kathy - stamp, cut & embellish Valentine’s Day cards - $7

Mar. 3 - Japanese Origami - make 2-3 paper origami creations - $5

Mar. 17 - St. Patrick’s Day leprechaun using a clay pot, paint, etc. - $7

Apr. 14 - Folk Art Tin Can Sculpture - using odds & ends of junk - $5

Apr. 21 - Folk Art Checkerboard - paint & stencil on pine wood 12” x 18” - $10

May 12 - Crazy Hats - Paint and bedazzle a fun hat!  - $10

$5.00 discount for additional students in the same family for weekly classes only ~  Private Art Lessons: $20/hr. ~ Special Group Rates for Organizations - can schedule times outside of these specific blocks ~ We also have at least two art exhibits each year to celebrate our students’ artwork! Class size is limited to 12, so call now! Classes include supplies unless otherwise stated. The Twin Falls Creative Arts Center follows the Twin Falls School District’s holiday schedule for Thanksgiving, Christmas Break and Spring Break. All supplies included unless otherwise noted. Family discounts and registration fees do not apply to Make-n-Take crafts.
